  1. After reinstall antivirus software and followed by a defender update. I get a 0×80240016 error message.

  2. I’ve had this happen a few more times, and it seems that the cause is doing a manual update, while a microsoft/windows update is already in progress.

    This looks a lot like your typical microsoft “department a doesn’t talk to department b”… so application a won’t work smoothly with other MS applications.

    MS office is another good example: its biggest design flaw (from over 10 years ago) is that word, excel, powerpoint, outlook, etc are all seperate applications (with no common core).
